Manor History
After several years of education to wine grower and wine maker and additional valuable practical experience in the Vineyards in the canton Vaud we took over the Winery of the Frey family.
The Winery is situated in between Twann and Gleresse in the pitoresque hamlet Bipschal at the shore of lake of biel. The cellar is the basement of a nearly 400 years old building.
As being a young couple we are proud to form the beautiful landscape by our profession and to worship local culture and traditions by the quality of our wines.
The wine year 2010
The year 2010 showed nearly every possible facet. Long beautiful and sometimes dry hot weeks alternated with cool and wet periods.
The wide temperature spread of the season reduced the amount of harvested grapes slightly. But, as often in this region, the very nice autumn weather lead to an optimal ripening process and resulted in a marvelous harvest.
The wine matured during the winter to wine and have been botteled at the end of May and are now ready to be tasted.
